K24GP is a low-powered television station affiliated with the Mexico-based Multimedios Television, owned and operated by HC2 Holdings. It broadcasts on channel 24 and licensed to Lubbock, Texas.
The station currently has a Construction Permit filed with the FCC to flash cut its channel 24 signal to digital.
In June 2013, K24GP was slated to be sold to Landover 5 LLC as part of a larger deal involving 51 other low-power television stations;[1] the sale fell through in June 2016.[2] Mako Communications sold its stations, including K24GP, to HC2 Holdings in 2017.[3]
