Justin, Scott, & Spiegel is a local radio show that broadcasts out of Baltimore, Maryland, on WIYY, 98Rock (97.9 FM). The morning show runs Monday through Friday from 5:30AM-10AM, starring Justin Schlegel, Scott Reardon and Josh Spiegel with their producer Mike Anderson. The show first aired on July 8th, 2013, replacing the previous morning show, Mickey, Amelia, and Spiegel. In August of 2018 producer Mike Anderson conceptualized what would eventually be called the "Fowl Ball," pulled chicken wing meat formed into a cake and deep fried, (similar to a traditional Maryland style crab cake). Smoke BBQ in Cockeysville executed Mike's idea and occasionally features the "Fowl Ball" on its menu.

Broadcast history

On July 8th, 2013, Justin, Scott, & Spiegel replaced the long-running, award winning, morning show Mickey, Amelia, and Spiegel, after Mickey Cucchiella resigned. With the departure of Mickey Cucchiella the station revamped its line-up, moving Amelia Ryerse back to the afternoon drive and Scott Reardon from producer to on-air talent. [1]

Baltimore comedian Justin Schlegel is a familiar star on 98Rock, first starting as a frequent guest on 98Rock's morning show where he would often fill in for the on-air talent when they were vacationing. Justin was eventually given his own show during the 7pm-midnight shift, and then the afternoon drive
