Biography

Solomon was born in McMinnville, Tennessee, and moved to Nashville when she was 9. Solomon completed Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations Management at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.[7] After completing her graduation, she moved to New York City and worked for Press Here Publicity.[8]

In 2010, she moved back to Nashville and started working for Thomas Nelson Publishers, under the leadership of Michael Hyatt, and worked with best-selling authors in gaining public visibility and establishing and maintaining communication with their following.[7] Her work at Thomas Nelson Publishers included publicity efforts on the record-breaking book, Heaven is for Real, which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.[9] After leaving Thomas Nelson Publishers in October 2011, she joined Abingdon Press as a Publicity Manager.[10] Solomon assisted on various projects and campaigns relating to music, film, television, interior design, and books,[1] including band Def Leppard, singer Lenny Kravitz and Perry Farrell, musician Jack White, Mekhi Phifer, Zoë Kravitz, and others.[11]

In 2013, Solomon joined forces with Beth Hood-Fromm and co-founded OMG! Publicity, which begin her entrepreneurial career.[12] The company focuses on managing publicity campaigns for authors, bloggers, entrepreneurs, NGO and creative new product launches. The company was soon able to gain renowned clients including Devon Franklin, Meagan Good, Emily Maynard, Max Lucado, Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins Publishing, and others to manage launch of their book campaigns.[13] In 2016, she created an online course program, Pitch It Perfect, that teaches influencers & bloggers how to move from one-off paid-to-post content to long-term brand collaboration. [14] In 2018, Julie created her signature course, The Influencer Academy, the step-by-step, brand-building online program, tailor-made just for influencers and bloggers, showing you how to define your purpose, clarify your strategy, and grow a worthwhile, profitable business. [15]

Solomon resides in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, actor Johnathon Schaech, whom she married in July 2013 in Ocean City, Maryland.[16] Their son, Camden Quinn, was born in September 2013.[1][3][17][18]
