Judy is an upcoming British biographical musical-drama film directed by Rupert Goold. Based on the life of American singer, actress Judy Garland which focused on the late 1960s as Garland arrives in the British capital for a run of sell-out concerts at the Talk of the Town. It is an adaptation of the Olivier and Tony nominated 2012 Broadway play End of the Rainbow by Peter Quilter. The film stars Renée Zellweger as the singer, which also stars Rufus Sewell and Michael Gambon in supporting roles. The film was originally scheduled to be released in late 2018.[1][2]

Plot

Set in the late 1960s when Garland arrives in the British capital for a five-week run of sell-out concerts.

Principal photography for the film began on March 19, 2018, which is being shot in London.[3] The film will be distributed by Pathé.[4][5][6]
