Jowhor Ile

Jowhor Ile is a Nigerian writer known for his first novel, And After Many Days.[1][2][3] In 2016, the novel was awarded the Etisalat Prize for Literature.[4]

Jowhor Ile was born and raised in Nigeria. His debut novel And After Many Days was awarded the Etisalat Prize for Literature 2016. His short fiction has appeared in McSweeney’s Quarterly and Litro Magazine. He earned his MFA at Boston University and currently shares his time between Nigeria and the U.S.
