Jotnar is a Spanish modern melodic death metal band founded in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) year 2008.[1] Their first release was the 2012 five tracked EP "Giant" and it was released via the Italian record label "Coroner Records". During the same year, Jotnar performed in international metal festivals like Metalcamp 2012 (Slovenia)[2] and "RockBitch Boat 2012" (Sweden).

Year 2015, vocalist Misael Montesdeoca decided to leave the band[3] and later he vas replaced by Mario Infantes from the band "Denia".[4] The bands debut album "Connected/Condemned"[5] will be released on April 2017 via Massacre Records.
