Jostle Corporation

Jostle Corporation is a technology company that provides a software as a service (SaaS) intranet platform designed to connect and engage employees inside of organizations. Jostle is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and provides its cloud-based software platform worldwide.

Jostle was founded in 2009 by Brad Palmer and Alec Szibbo. For over 35 years Szibbo has represented clients in the acquisition, commercialization, exploitation, and sale of technology assets and creative works. Palmer has more than 30 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving the commercialization of technology businesses.

Since its inception, the company has raised all its investment from private individuals.[1]

The company is chaired by WestJet co-founder Don Bell.

History

Brad Palmer co-founded Jostle Corporation with Alec Szibbo in February 2009 [2] and they launched their intranet platform to its first paying customer in 2011. In 2013, Don Bell became the chairman of Jostle’s board of directors.[3] By the end of 2014, Jostle had raised over $5 million in equity investment.[4][5] In 2017, Jostle placed first on Business in Vancouver's "Fastest Growing Companies in BC" list.[6]

2018: Jostle named to the Constellation ShortList™ for Top 10 Corporate Intranet Platforms[7][8]

2017: Jostle placed first on the Business in Vancouver "Fastest Growing Companies in BC" list.[9]

2015,[10] 2016, and 2017: [11][12] Jostle made the Rocket Builders’ Ready to Rocket list of British Columbia technology companies predicted to be growth leaders. This list identifies private companies in BC that will likely experience significant growth, venture capital investment or acquisition by a major player in the coming year.[13]

2011: Jostle was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 3 Digital Design Teams by nextMEDIA’s Digi Awards.[14][15]

2010: Jostle was one of the top 10 finalists in the New Ventures BC awards.[16] New Ventures BC is British Columbia’s largest longest-running technology venture competition.
