Jonathan 'Jono' Phillips (born 14 July 1982, Cardiff, Wales)[1] is a British ice hockey player who is captain of the Sheffield Steelers.[2][3][4] Phillips became the most-capped Sheffield Steelers player in history in April 2007, when he earned his 683rd cap for the club.[5] He is the club's most successful captain, having won eight trophies with the Steelers. Phillips has also captained the Great Britain men's national ice hockey team.[6]
