Johnnycake Town

Johnnycake Town, also known as Journeycake Town, was a town in the early 1700s located in present-day Catonsville, Maryland. The town was settled by Europeans in the 1720s.[1] It was named after johnnycakes sold to travelers at the local inn. Johnnycake Town has since disappeared from maps but it's main roads (Johnnycake Road, Old Frederick Road, and North Rolling Road) still remain today. [2]
