John Wilson (born 2 July 1978 in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player for the Catalans Dragons in the European Super League competition. He previously played for the Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League (NRL). His usual position is second row, but he has mainly played at centre for the Catalans.

One of the most experienced campaigners in the fledgling Dragons outfit, Wilson has matured greatly at centre in 2007 and put in a number of solid performances. Nicknamed 'Sergeant' by English Dragons followers after the Dad's Army character, he is a popular figure with fans.

He was named in the France squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[1]
