John Jac Sykes (Born June 1971) is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who featured in the Sunday Times Rich List [1][2] after successful real estate investments in the Thames Valley town of Reading, UK.
Sykes is the sole owner and Chairman of the Atlantis Group of companies, which has advanced over recent years to build a large international real estate portfolio, along with a successful trading business managing real estate on behalf of third-party clients. The Group presently has real estate assets under management exceeding £300m.
In 2013, Sykes acquired his own private island in The Bahamas, Jwycesska Island, which he is in the process of developing into an exclusive private retreat for high net worth individuals from all over the world.
In 2014, Sykes founded the John Sykes Foundation (Registered Charity Number 1156623), a charity centered on helping to transform lives in Reading, the Group and Sykes' hometown. Sykes has committed to cover all administrative expenses of the charity so that 100% of donations and funding is delivered back to the community where he was born and raised.
Sykes presently resides in The Bahamas with his family, however remains heavily involved with his UK based companies, and in particular his real estate investment business, Atlantis Holdings Limited.
