John Stewart Turner
John Stewart Turner OBE FAA (1908–1991) was an Australian botanist and plant physiologist. He was Professor of Botany and Plant Physiology, University of Melbourne 1938–1973, and was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science in 1956. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1974. [1] [2] [3] [4]
He is sometimes referred to as "John Stuart Turner". Also, he should not be confused with (John) Stewart Turner (born 1930), the Australian geophysicist.
