John Pearce was an English middleweight boxer from the Wellington ABC. ABA Champion in 1996 and 1998[1] he went on to win Gold[2] at the Commonwealth Games of 1998 in Kuala Lumpur. He defeated Jitender Kumar (India) in the final.[3]

Coming from Middlesbrough he was at the time MD of his own double glazing company.[4]
