John MacLeod (Sutherland MP)
John MacLeod (born 1863)[1] was MP for Sutherland. He was originally elected for the Crofters Party, although he was often described as a Liberal.
He was returned unopposed at a by-election in 1894, defeated a Liberal Unionist in 1895, but lost it fairly narrowly to the Liberal Unionist in 1900.
