John Janick

John Janick is an American record executive. He is the chairman and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M Records.[1]

In 1996, while a student at the University of Florida, Janick founded the independent record company Fueled By Ramen. Among others, he signed Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, fun. and Paramore.[2]

Janick served as the co-president of Elektra Records from 2009 until 2012. He was named president and COO of Interscope Geffen A&M in 2012 and was appointed chairman and CEO after Jimmy Iovine exited in May, 2014.[3]
