John "Brooms" Abramovic Jr. (February 9, 1919 – June 9, 2000) was an American professional basketball player of Croatian origin[1] who played in the Basketball Association of America (BAA).

He played basketball at Salem College (now Salem International University) in Salem, West Virginia before going on to play for three different BAA teams (and one NBL team) in the mid-1940s.

John is a member of the 1984 Salem University Hall of Fame class.
