Joe & Evan is a sports talk radio show hosted by Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. ET on New York radio stations WFAN-AM and WFAN-FM.

History

The midday slot has been one of the better slots from a ratings perspective for WFAN. It is now the highest rated and longest running midday show in the history of WFAN. In 2014, Joe and Evan got its first theme song.

Whenever former WFAN host Mike Francesa would go on vacation, Benigno and Roberts would guest-host the Mike's On show and always sang Francesa's theme song at the 1:00pm and 5:00pm hour.

With Francesa’s departure on December 15, 2017, the Joe & Evan show expanded an extra hour (now ending at 2:00pm instead of 1:00pm).[1]

Format

The program is a regular sports-talk show focused on the analysis of the sports week by the host followed by calls from listeners. The show is characterized also by guests and ticket giveaways for different sports games.
