John Wilson was an English professional football left back who made over 460 appearances in the Scottish League for Heart of Midlothian, Dunfermline Athletic, Hamilton Academical and St Johnstone.[1]
Personal life
Wilson served as a private in the Royal Scots during the First World War.[2] He was twice wounded during the course of his service.[2]
