Joanna Brown

Joanna Brown is a Canadian triathlete.

Youth career

In 2010, she was a bronze medalist at the junior world championships and in 2012 was bronze medalist at the U23 world championships.[1]

Professional career

2015 season

Brown competed in the women's triathlon at the 2015 Pan American Games.[2]

2016 season

In 2016, she competed on the 2016 ITU World Triathlon Series finishing 17th in Edmonton.[3]

2017 season

Brown finished second by 1 second to American Katie Zaferes at the World Cup event at New Plymouth.[4] She also finished second at the World Cup event in Cagliari.[5] She was named triathlete of the year by Triathlon Magazine Canada.[6]

2018 season

Brown took bronze in the women's triathlon at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.[7]
