JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind (Japanese: ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 黄金の風, Hepburn: JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Ōgon no Kaze) is the Fifth season of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime television series by David Production, adapting Golden Wind, the fifth part of Hirohiko Araki's manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Set in 2001, two years after the events of Diamond is Unbreakable, Koichi Hirose is sent to Italy and tasked by Jotaro Kujo to search for Giorno Giovanna, an aspiring mafia gangster who is a son of Dio Brando. The series follows Giorno as he makes his way through ranks of the mafia organization Passione so he can become its boss.

The anime adaptation of Golden Wind was personally announced by series creator Hirohiko Araki at the "Ripples of Adventure" art exhibition on June 21, 2018.[1] Golden Wind is directed by returning series director Naokatsu Tsuda who is accompanied by the senior writer Yasuko Kobayashi. The character designer for Golden Wind is Takahiro Kishida, and the animation director is Shun'ichi Ishimoto. Yugo Kanno returns as composer from previous seasons.[1] The series will run for 39 episodes.[2][3]

The Golden Wind pilot debuted at Anime Expo on July 6, 2018. The series formally premiered on October 5, 2018, on Tokyo MX and other channels.[4][lower-alpha 1] The series is simulcast by Crunchyroll. Like previous seasons, some names are altered in the official English releases to avoid potential copyright infringement.[5] The opening theme is "Fighting Gold" performed by Coda, and the ending theme is "Freek'n You" by Jodeci.
