Jinger Nicole Vuolo (née Duggar; born December 21, 1993)[1] is an American author and television personality. She is known for her television appearances on TLC reality shows 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On. A member of the Duggar family, Vuolo is the fourth daughter born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Vuolo co-authored Growing Up Duggar: It's All About Relationships with her sisters Jana, Jill and Jessa in 2015.

Career

Vuolo first began her television career appearing on the documentary 14 Children and Pregnant Again in 2004, which featured the Duggar family and was broadcast on the Discovery Health Channel. She appeared on a subsequent documentary, Raising 16 Children in 2006.[2] In 2008, she made regular appearances on 19 Kids and Counting which featured the family and broadcast on TLC.[3] After the cancellation of the show, the spin-off series Counting On was created in 2015 with Vuolo as one of the main cast members along with her sisters Jana, Jill and Jessa. She also published a book with her sisters called Growing Up Duggar later that same year.[4]

Personal life

Vuolo met former professional athlete Jeremy Vuolo while on a mission trip to Central America in 2015.[5] The two announced that they were in a courtship in June 2016.[5] The couple was engaged one month later, and married on November 5, 2016.[6] The Vuolos reside in Laredo, Texas, where Jeremy works as the pastor of a local church. She is also an accomplished pianist.

The Vuolos announced in January 2018 that they were expecting their first child, due in July.[7] On April 9, they revealed they were having a girl, making Vuolo the first Duggar daughter to have a girl (sisters Jill, Jessa, and Joy-Anna currently have a combined five children, all boys).[8] On July 19, 2018, at 4:37 am, Jinger gave birth to Felicity Nicole Vuolo. [9] Felicity is the twelfth grandchild, but only the third granddaughter, on the Duggar side.
