James Kabatha Kamande (born December 12, 1978) is a former Kenyan cricketer and former limited over captain. He is a right-handed batsman and an off-spin bowler. Originally a fast-medium bowler, Kamande reinvented himself as a spinner in 2004 following concerns about his bowling action.

International career

Kamande made his One Day International debut for Kenya in the 1999 World Cup in England.[1]

In the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, Kamande captained the Kenyan Cricket Team for the first time in a World Cup.[2] But poor performance in the series involved to sack him from captaincy.[3]
