Jill Pruetz

Jill Pruetz is an American anthropologist and primatologist. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois-Urbana and later on traveled to Africa and South America to study primates. She is currently a professor at Iowa State University, teaches field courses at the El Zota Biological Field Station and is a member of the National Geographic Society. She has received research funding from the National Science Foundation.[1] Pruetz is a Professor of Anthropology at Texas State University, and was previously at Iowa State University.[2]
