Jhulasan is a small village located in district of Mehsana, Kadi Taluka in the state of Gujarat, India. It has the population of about 5,000. Majority of the residents are farmers. About 1700 people from Jhulasan have migrated to the USA. Some families have migrated to Canada too. Other families have migrated to the nearby city of Kalol and Ahmedabad.

Jhulasan village is one of the most developed villages in Kadi Taluka. Most of the population in this village are Patels. Thakore, Raval, Rabari, Gujjars, Suthars, Barots, Harijans, Ravals are minorities. American astronaut Sunita Williams' father, Deepakbhai Pandya, a doctor in Boston, migrated to the USA in the early 1960s.[1]

The first Reunion of all people from Jhulasan Village in the USA was organized in July 2014 in Kentucky, USA. More than 2000 villagers got together and celebrated event over two days. The second reunion was held in July 2016 at Umiya Mata Temple in Macon, Georgia, USA. More than 1500 villagers got together and celebrated reunion for two days. The third reunion is scheduled on July 12th, 13th and 14th, 2018 at Vaikunth Hindu Jain Temple, 571 S Pomona Rd, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215 (near Atlantic City, New Jersey where many casinos are located). The convention Was lit and was on point.

There are many large temples in this village. The Dola Maa temple is the biggest one and worldwide popular.[2] There is a Swaminarayan Temple (Under NarNarayan Dev Gadi), Radha Vallabh Temple(Radhe Redhe), Ramji Mandir, Sat Kaival Ashram, Gogleshvar Mahadev, Nilkantheswar Mahadev temple (Mahadev Vas) with Shitla Mata and Hanuman Temple and few more temples.

There are several lakes in Jhulasan and now it is also getting water from Narmada River Canal.

Jhulasan Anupam Prathmik Shala(primary school) provides education from 1st to 8th grade and C.P.Gajjar High School provides education from 9th grade to 10th grade. To get a higher education after that, one has to go to the nearby village Pansar or Vadu or city of Kalol or Ahmedabad. From 1870 to 1910, Primary School was at Niilkanth Mahadev Temple (Mahadev Vas). The current Jhulasan Prathmik School was built in 1910 by Maharaja Sayajirao since Jhulasan village belonged to Gaikavad Sarkar. In 1965, Maganlal Chimanlal Mistry(Suthar) built C. P. Gajjar High School in memory of his late father Chimanlal Purushottamdas Gajjar, so school name is C. P. Gajjar High School

Diwali, Holi, Uttarayan, Temple Patotsav, Garba, and New Year are some of the festivals celebrated each year in Jhulasan.
