Jennifer Lynn Armentrout is an American writer of horror fiction.[1][2]
Some of her works have been on the New York Times bestseller list.[3][4] Her young adult novel Obsidian has been optioned by Sierra Pictures.[5][6]
She is considered a "hybrid" author, having successfully self-published while maintaining active contracts with small independent presses, and traditional publishers.[7][8] Her current publishers include Spencer Hill Press, Entangled Publishing, Harlequin Teen, Disney/Hyperion, and HarperCollins.[9] Armentrout is highly prolific and states that she writes for eight hours a day almost every day.
