Jeleniewo [jɛlɛˈɲɛvɔ] is a village in Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Jeleniewo. It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north of Suwałki and 122 km (76 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.

The village has a population of 490.

History

Jeleniewo – at present the communal village, laid in you will tell suwalskim, on the rout Suwałki - The Rutka-sawmill. She came into being about 1770 .
