Jelek (Kurdish- Gundê Çelkê غوندى سلكا) is an Assyrian village on the western edge of the Barwari region of Iraqi Kurdistan in the Amedi District of Dohuk Governorate. It has around 100 houses, and a historic church on a mountain overlooking the valley which the village sits within.[1][2]
