Jeff Nesset (born September 13, 1952 in Culbertson, Montana)[1] was a Republican Idaho State Representative from 2010 to 2012 representing District 7 in the A seat.[2] He was previously the mayor of Lewiston, Idaho for 10 years.

Education

Nesset earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Montana State University.

Elections

2012

Redistricted to District 6, Nesset ran for its open senate seat, losing to Dan G. Johnson.[3]

2010

Nesset was unopposed for the Republican primary[4].

Nesset won the general election with 54.6% of the vote, defeating incumbent Democratic Representative Liz Chavez.[5]
