Jeff Dolven is an American academic and poet. He is Behrman Professor in the Humanities Council and associate chair of the Department of English at Princeton University. He is the author of three books, one of which is a collection of his poems.

Early life

Dolven graduated from Yale University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy.[1] He was a Rhodes scholar at the University of Oxford,[2] and he earned a PhD in English from Yale.[1] He was also a fellow of the Young Faculty Leaders Forum at Harvard University.[1] He later joined the Harvard Society of Fellows.[1]

Career

Dolven is the Behrman Professor in the Humanities Council and associate chair of the Department of English at Princeton University.[3] He teaches courses on poetry and poetics.[4]

Dolven is the author of three books, one of which is a collection of his poems. Moreover, his poems have been published in The Paris Review,[5] as well as English Literary Renaissance, Representations, Modern Philology, the Southwest Review and Raritan.[6]
