Jean Trémoulet
Jean Trémoulet (12 April 1909 Vézac (Dordogne) – 13 October 1944) was a French racing driver who won the 1938 24 Hours of Le Mans with Eugène Chaboud In the 24 hours of mans 1938 he defeated the greatest names of drivers in mans 1938 Raymond Sommer, crew Pierre Levegh-Jean Trévoux, Amédée Gordini, Louis Rosier, Philippe Etancelin-Luigi Chinetti crew, Louis Chiron or Albert Divo. He died at 35 years old, as part of the French Resistance during World War II.[1] The racing circuit of Faux, near Bergerac bears his name.
