Jazeera (Kurmanji Siba Sheikh Khidir Arabic: العدنانية DMG al-ʿAdnānīya, also spelled Jazira) is an Iraqi town about 100 km (62 mi) from Mosul and a few miles south of Sinjar. It was one of two villages targeted in the 2007 Yazidi communities bombings against the local Yazidi community.[1][2][3][4]
