Jayson Thiessen is a Canadian animation director, most famous for being the supervising director and executive producer of the animated television series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and its spin-off films Equestria Girls and Rainbow Rocks.[2] He also directed the 2017 film adaptation based directly on the television series.[3][4]

Prior to working on My Little Pony, he worked on season 2 of the Pucca television series aired on Jetix (now Disney XD).
