Jayati Bhatia is a television actress, who was born in 1970. She acted in serials like Itihaas, Kanyadaan, Kutumb, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi. Apart from television and films, she also does theatre plays. She has played Kirron Kher's daughter in the serial Kanyadaan.[1] She gave notable performance in the play Mad about Money. She has been crowned the Kitchen Champion of Season 4 and also been the contestant of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5.[2][3] She played the Main Supporting Role of Nirmala Devi Kumud Bharadwaj / Mataji, the Most Senior Member of the Bharadwaj Family in a Daily Soap named Sasural Simar Ka telecasted from year 2011 to year 2018 on Colors TV. It is one of the Longest Running Shows of the Indian Television.[4] Her performance is notable in Show. However, The Show lost TRP after makers of the Show brought absurd story-line to advance the plot and so Sasural Simar Ka went off-air on 2 March 2018.[5] Later, she played a Negative Role of Kamini Kapoor in Star Plus Show Naamkarann.[6] It was one of the Popular Shows of Star Plus which was based on the life of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt but was pulled off-air to revamp the Channel.[7][8]
