Francisco Javier 'Javi' Cabezas Chounavelle (born 28 February 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CD Ebro as a winger.

Football career

Born in Córdoba, Andalusia, Cabezas made his senior debuts in 2009 with local amateurs UD La Voz. In the following three seasons he played in Tercera División, representing Peñarroya CF,[1] CD Pozoblanco[2] and Córdoba CF B.[3]

On 17 October 2012 Cabezas played his first official match with the latter's first team, coming on as a 62nd-minute substitute in a 1–0 away win over CE Sabadell FC for the Copa del Rey.[4] He first appeared in Segunda División on 17 February of the following year, featuring the last 12 minutes in a 1–1 home draw against AD Alcorcón.[5] He finished the campaign with one more appearance for the main squad (against Villarreal CF on 3 March).

In July 2013, Cabezas was loaned to Écija Balompié in Segunda División B.[6] After subsequent loans at SD Huesca and Barakaldo CF, he was released.

Cabezas continued to appear in the third division in the following years, representing La Hoya Lorca CF, CD Tudelano and CD Ebro.[7]
