Jasmin Repeša (born June 1, 1961) is a Bosnian-born Croatian professional basketball coach. He is currently the head coach of Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Repeša has won numerous pro club competitions during his head coaching career, and he was also a somewhat successful basketball player during his youth, while playing for KK Čapljina early on in his basketball career.
His son Dino is also a basketball coach, former coach under the coaching staff of Cedevita.
Coaching career
Clubs
Cedevita Zagreb
In 2013 he was named the new head coach of Croatian League club Cedevita Zagreb, where his son Dino was the assistant coach. Cedevita won 2014–15 A-1 League and 2015–16 A-1 League. Also, Cedevita played semifinal of 2014–15 ABA League playoffs. In 2015, because health problems, he left Cedevita, which was taken by his assistant Veljko Mršić.
Olimpia Milano
On June 26, 2015, Repeša signed a contract to became the head coach of the Italian team Olimpia Milano.[1]In June 2017, he was sacked.
National teams
Croatia national team
He coached Croatia national basketball team a two times, from 2005 to 2009 and from 2012 to 2014. On the EuroBasket 2013 Croatia won 4th place, but on the 2014 World Cup Croatia was eliminated in the round of sixteen and Repeša was sacked.
Bosnia national team
In September 2018 he became the head coach of Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team.
