Jarred Gavan Gillett (born 1 November 1986) is an Australian soccer referee in the A-League. He was the 2011–12 A-League Referee of the Year and officiated in the 2012 A-League Grand Final.[1] On 11 May 2015, Gillett was awarded the 2014–15 A-League Referee of the Year

Gillett refereed the October 2009 National Youth League Grand Final. He has been part of the Asian Football Confederation Project Future referees program and visited the Premier League in England in 2010 with the AFC.[2] Gillett made his A-League debut during the 2010–11 A-League season, officiating in 15 matches, including the elimination semi-final between Adelaide United and Wellington Phoenix.[1]

He also officiated the 2016 A-League Grand Final between Adelaide United and Western Sydney Wanderers FC.

In April 2017, Jarred Gillett was appointed as one of the inaugural Video assistant referees (VAR's) in the A-League (the first top-tier football league in the world to implement the technology).[3]

Gillett was awarded the 2016/17 Hyundai A-League Referee of the Year award for a record fourth time, making him the most successful referee in A-League history.[4] The 2017 A-League Grand Final between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory was his third consecutive appearance at refereeing the Final.
