Jan Dost
Jan Dost (born 1965) is a Syrian Kurdish poet, writer and translator. He has several novels in Kurdish and Arabic and is one of the prolific Kurdish writers.[1] He was born in 1965 in Kobanî. Jan Dost is a recipient of Galawej Prize (a prize in Kurdish literature). He also has translated some Kurdish and Persian works into Arabic, including Mem and Zin the famous work of Ahmad Khani.
