Jammu and Kashmir Innovators Forum

Jammu and Kashmir Innovator’s Forum (JKIF) is totally a voluntary forum,[1] first of its kind in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, involving some intellectuals in the state who have a vision for increasing scientific inventions, Innovations and Research[2] within the state.[3] JKIF work on young minds in the state through its lecture series, awareness camps,[4][5] power point presentations,[6] scientific book releases,[7] award functions, etc. JKIF has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Science and Technology.[8] The proper working of the forum began Monday, 10 September 2012.[9] The current CEO of this organisation is Idrees ul haq, and the head office of the Forum is at Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
