James Saltonstall is an Italian international rugby league footballer who plays for Halifax in the Betfred Championship. He plays on the wing or as a fullback.

He represented Italy in the 2013 World Cup.

Playing career

He previously played for the Warrington Wolves in the Super League on the wing.[3]

He made his Italy début in a match against Russia, qualifying through his Italian mother.[4]

Bradford

He was sent on a month's loan to Super League side Bradford Bulls in January 2014. He featured in the pre-season games against Hull F.C., Dewsbury, and Castleford. He scored against Dewsbury (1 try). Saltonstall's loan was extended by another month.
