Rear Admiral James Campsie Rapp CB (born May 1952) is a former Royal Navy officer who served as Flag Officer Sea Training.

Educated at Ampleforth College and Britannia Royal Naval College, Rapp became commanding officer of the frigate HMS Brilliant in July 1993,[1] commanding officer of the frigate HMS Cornwall and commander of the 2nd Frigate Squadron in May 1998 and Flag Officer Sea Training in November 2001 before retiring in April 2004.[2]

In retirement Rapp became director general of Trafalgar 200[3] for which he was appointed Companion of the Order of the Bath in the 2006 New Year Honours.[4][5] He later became senior naval advisor to CAE Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of simulation technologies.[6]
