James Levesque "Jim" Shaver Jr. (born November 23, 1927) is an American former politician. He was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, serving from 1961 to 1994. He also served from 1968 to 1971 as an assistant to Attorney General Joe Purcell. He is a member of the Democratic party. He is the son of former Arkansas Lieutenant Governor James L. Shaver and his wife, Louise Davis.[1]
