James Kuhn

James Lawrence Kuhn (born November 19, 1961) is a world-renowned visual artist and degree-earned professional clown ("Haw Haw the Clown") from Three Oaks, Michigan. James is known for his "365 Faces in a Year" in which he painted a different image on his face and head, every day, for an entire year. His faithful efforts rewarded him countless magazine and blog article interviews, along with guest spots on television shows around the world, including "Lopez Tonight" where his face was featured on the main-stage video wall: that week's guest was the person James painted on his face (he would physically move his eyes and mouth, animating the painting, for an interesting added effect.) Nothing like it had ever been done on television before! James also lent his artistic talents to the Canadian indie rock band Young Rival's video "Two Reasons".[1]

A collection of 365 of his painted faces, one for each day of the year is available from The Telegraph https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/howaboutthat/5207199/James-Kuhn-the-man-who-painted-his-face-every-day-of-the-year-has-finished-the-365-day-project.html
