Jack Riley was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s. He played at representative level for England, and at club level for Halifax (Heritage № 19). He played as a prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums.[1]

International honours

Jack Riley won a cap playing Right-Prop for England in the 3-9 defeat by Other Nationalities at Central Park, Wigan on Tuesday 5 April 1904,[2] in the first ever international rugby league match.[3]
