Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway is a bridge currently under construction to be in the GCC region, with an estimated construction value of approximately USD 3 billion.[1] The project owner is the Kuwait Ministry of Public Works (MPW). The causeway project would provide new strategic highway routes to facilitate planned development to the north of Kuwait City and would comprise two discrete elements.
As of September 2018, the causeway is 97% complete, with a projected opening on November 3 2018.[2]
