Jabar Akil Westerman (born May 13, 1989) is a Canadian football defensive lineman for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was selected second overall by the BC Lions in the 2012 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 28, 2012.[1] He was ranked as the eighth best player in the Canadian Football League’s Amateur Scouting Bureau final rankings for players eligible in the 2012 CFL Draft.[2] His brother, Jamaal Westerman, also plays for the Alouettes as of 2018. He played college football with the Eastern Michigan Eagles.[3] As of February 14, 2017, he joined the Alouettes.
