J. R. Tavai is an gridiron football outside linebacker for the Ottawa Redblacks. He played college football at Southern California. He was signed by Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2015.
Professional career
After going unselected in the 2015 NFL Draft, Tavai signed with the Tennessee Titans on May 11, 2015.[1] On September 5, he was waived for final roster cuts.[2] On November 11, 2015, he was signed to the practice squad. On December 12, 2015, he was promoted to the active roster.
On September 2, 2016, he was released by the Titans as part of final roster cuts.[3] He was signed to the practice squad on December 6, 2016.[4]
