The Iver Johnson AMAC-1500 is a manually-operated sniper rifle/anti-materiel rifle developed by Research Armaments Prototypes (RAP) and manufactured by Iver Johnson Arms in the 1980s, and used by the US Armed Forces.
Design
The Iver Johnson AMAC-1500 is a derivative of the RAP Model 500, which was originally designed by a team led by D. Haskins in 1981-82 at a request from the US Armed Forces. Both weapons are similar; the main differences are the barrel shape, the muzzle brake, and the bipod.[1]
