Ivan Andreyevich Rovny (Russian: Иван Андреевич Ровный; born 30 September 1987) is a Russian professional road bicycle racer, currently riding for UCI Professional Continental team Gazprom–RusVelo.[2]

Career

For the 2014 season, Leningrad-born Rovny joined Tinkoff–Saxo.[3] He was disqualified from the 2014 Vuelta a España for fighting with Italian cyclist Gianluca Brambilla on a breakaway on stage 16.[4] In August 2016 Gazprom–RusVelo announced that Rovny would rejoin the team on a two-year contract from the following season, having previously ridden for the team in 2012.[1]
