Iván Fernández (born 17 February 1983) is a Spanish athlete who competes for Spain internationally.
He competes in long-distance running events, mostly cross country and marathon and is coached by marathon legend Martin Fiz. A video of him showing a lost Abel Mutai where the finish line in the Burlada Cross Country race was, rather than passing him and earning the victory, went viral in January 2013. He was globally praised for his fair play.[2]
