Italian Union of Seventh-day Adventist Christian Churches

The Italian Union of Seventh-Day Adventist Christian Churches (Italian: Unione Italiana delle Chiese Cristiane Avventiste del Settimo Giorno), part of the worldwide fellowship of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is a Protestant denomination in Italy.[1] The Union membership as of June 30, 2017 is 9,516, worshiping in 110 churches.[2]

History

In 1986 the Union first signed an agreement with the Italian Council of Ministers, in accordance with article 8 of the Italian Constitution which regulates the relations with religious minorities. They later signed three successive agreements. The latter of these agreements was made law in 2009.[3][4]
